Folksy, is the British site I use to host my work. Previously they have only taken payments by PayPal, from yesterday, you can now use any card to make your payment.

I personally prefer to be on a site hosting the best of British handmade crafts, I also like that camaraderie I find in the forums, if anything goes right or wrong, there is always someone to help you. The Folksy team behind it all do a splendid job too.

Here is a link to my shop,

I also have two shops on Etsy,

With Christmas just around the corner, do take a look, especially at the Folksy site, and not just my work, there are some really beautiful items out there. You will make a small designer very happy if you purchase from them……

Alphabet Letters

I have been working on a series of letters, I have a love of typography as well as sewing.

I have decided to sew them all together to make a wall hanging IMG_20170416_100122_849.jpg

And in the future I may add more letters or numbersIMG_20170416_100149_399.jpg

But for now, it is finished, it took months to makeIMG_20170416_100220_516.jpg

I may enter it into the festival of quilts this summer, so it can be seen by thousands……IMG_20170416_100244_754.jpg

I have also made the letters up into kits, for you to make your own letters, these are available now in my Folksy shop. Each individual letter is approximately 5″ square

Textile Jug

Here’s my latest piece of work.

Seven sided jug with a botanical flower and leaf design,

A spout at the top and a lovely swirly handle.

This took a long time to make and I had several ideas along the way which changed the look of the jug, the most notable being the swirly handle.
